He has over 30 years of executive operating experience in consumer products and retail, and is also the co-author of Anti-Racist Leadership: How to Transform Corporate Culture in a Race-Conscious World. He serves on the boards of Cana, The Honest Company, Simply Good Foods, and Affirm. James has recently served as the Chairman at Adtalem Global Education Inc, and on the boards of Callidus Cloud Software Inc, Hillshire Brands, and Jamba Inc. amongst others.
