Professional Background: Education
Dr. James Cash was trained in mathematics, computer science, and management information systems. He is a Professor Emeritus at Harvard Business School (HBS) where he also was Chairman of the MBA program, Baker Library, and HBS Publishing. Dr. Cash was the first Black tenured professor at HBS and has a building named after him. His boards include GE, Microsoft, the Chubb Corp, and Walmart, amongst others. He is also a member of the Boston Celtics ownership group.
