Bruce Gordon’s first board was by referral after giving a seminar to the Southern Company. He has always been a champion of diversity and community rights as well as a pioneering business executive in the telecommunications field. Bruce retired as head of the Retail Markets Division for Verizon. Previously, he was Group President, Retail at Bell Atlantic. His boards have included CBS, Northrop Grumman, and Tyco International. Bruce also headed the NAACP and has served on the boards of Office Depot, Best Foods, Xfinity Broadcasting, and the Bartek Group.
