Bennie retired as CEO of The Partnership, Inc. of Boston and then the Wiley group. She majored in marketing and started her career in consulting with ABT Associates. Bennie then became an entrepreneur, starting a toy store. She serves as a director of CBIZ, and BNY Mellon  family of funds. Bennie has served on the boards of Blue Cross and the African Mile and the Advisory Boards of PepsiCo and Blue Shield of Massachusetts. She has a background in Human Resources and Governance and has a certificate in cyber security. She recently became a Director of the Black Economic Alliance.
